I’m a molecular biologist-turned-science writer working in Princeton, New Jersey. While I specialize in the life sciences, my interests are broad, and I especially enjoy writing about the intersection of science and culture.

I have profiled up-and-coming researchers for The Scientist magazine, explored connections between climate science and architecture for Discovery: Research at Princeton, and reported on biomedical news for the Stanford University School of Medicine. My stories have also appeared in the San Jose Mercury News, CALIFORNIA magazine, and the Scientific American guest blogs.
